1. What is microneedling?

Holistic Microneedling is a regenerative skin treatment that uses a device with ultra-fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. 2. Does microneedling hurt?

Our Holistic Microneedling treatment is designed to feel comfortable, calming, and deeply restorative. A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure to ensure ease and relaxation. Once the skin is prepped, gentle acupuncture points are placed to ground the system and calm the nervous system.
Most clients are pleasantly surprised by how relaxing the experience feels, many drift into a meditative state or even fall asleep. Afterward, you may notice mild warmth or tightness as this is a natural part of the healing cascade that reveals smoother, firmer, more radiant skin in the days ahead.

3. How many microneedling sessions will I need?

Results are visible after one session, but cumulative treatments yield the most lasting glow. We typically recommend a series of three to six sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, depending on your skin’s condition and goals. During your consultation, we’ll create a customized plan to help you achieve sustained rejuvenation and repair.

2. Does acupuncture hurt?

Acupuncture is one of the gentlest healing modalities. The needles are thinner than a strand of hair and designed to communicate with the body, not disrupt it.
You may feel a soft pinch or tingling upon insertion, followed by warmth or a wave of relaxation. Most clients describe the experience as deeply calming and many even drift into sleep.

3. How many acupuncture sessions will I need?

Each person’s system responds uniquely. While many feel noticeable results after the first session, chronic or long-term conditions may require a short series to fully rebalance. A typical plan begins with weekly or biweekly treatments for 6–12 weeks before reassessment. Over time, sessions can be spaced farther apart for maintenance and continued vitality.

1. Does Meridien accept insurance?

Meridien is a cash-based practice and not in-network with insurance providers. We gladly accept HSA and FSA cards and can provide Superbills for clients whose plans reimburse for acupuncture services.

2. Where is Meridien located?

Meridien is located along Coast Highway 101 in the heart of Leucadia, Encinitas. There’s ample free street parking directly in front of the building. Our space is designed for stillness and refinement, a calm retreat where medicine meets ritual.
